Wonderful, delicately crafted full-color illustrations accompany the story of Harriet, a tiny Russian hamster who has escaped from her cage. At first, she seems to be in a land of wonder--a garden with a green grass carpet, giant plants, and birds that streak across the sky and land on tree branches to sing.
