With his stand-up-straight hair and his snazzy sunglasses, Earl's the coolest kid in town; "too cool for me" confides the narrator. But one day Earl comes over, and it turns out that he's a regular guy! Together, the new friends are as "cool as cool can be," riding bicycles in the starry sky.
