One spring day, on the high tundra at the edge of the frozen Arctic Ocean, Cow Caribou gives birth to a baby calf. Through the summer and autumn Little Caribou grows, until she is strong like her mother; then it is time to make the long trek south for the winter. This is the story of their journey.
